AutoFOCUS supports to model the architecture and the resources of hardware platforms.
If your project has no Platform Architecture root element yet, please add it in
the context menu of your project.
You can add elements to your Platform Architecture by dragging them from the Model Elements
View into your Platform Architecture.
AutoFOCUS 3 comes with the following platform architectures.
Generic platform architecture: A flat
model of the system's hardware platform, consisting of a network of electronic control units (ECUs)
that are connected by means of transmission units (abstracting busses or networks).
Hierarchical platform architecture:
A generic model to describe networked multicore architectures
in terms of their execution units (e.g., ECUs processors, cores), topology, memories, and I/O ports.
